Boston, 1954
Chet Baker
Although not as good as the Ann Arbor concert that was recorded 2 months later, this collection of radio broadcasts is still of great interest. These three broadcasts are presented here just as you would have heard them on the radio live in 1954. The radio announcer introduces us to the new talent from California, who is winning all the current polls and awards. Chet politely introduces each song in a brief, matter-of-fact manner. The music here is OK, notable is a rare live vocal performance of "Time After Time".
